Western Electric Non Dial Candlestick phone
Invented in the early 1900's, this phone was the standard of the industry at the time. It didn't have dialing but it was still made easier to hear and talk into at the same time, making it easier for calls. -
Wall Phone
in the early/mid 1900's this phone was created to hang on the wall. It was also easier to use than the Western Electric Non Dial because it had numbers for dialing and an ear and mouth piece in one to make talking to someone easier. -
Push Button Phone
in the 1970's phones were even easier to use than wall hanging phones from the early/mid 1900's. they had push buttons making it easier for you to see what you were dialing, and easier to make calls. -
First Cell Phone
In 1973 Dr. Martin Cooper invented the first cell phone. this was very large and basic compared to current day phones. this phone was designed for only making phone calls. -
Newer Cellphones (iPhone 4)
Thanks to modern technology,we now have smaller and more portable cell phones that do pretty much anything we need. Cell phones today have web browsing, texting, voicemail, and many other features along with making calls.
