Parents get a divorce
My parents divorced when I was 2 and my Dad moved to Minnesota. I was too young to remember that happening though. -
Started Kindergarten
I started kindergarden at Booth Cental School. Mrs. Fischer was my teacher and in class I made friends with my long time bestfriend, Jordan. -
Softball Career begins
I started playing softball when I was 5 and continued to play all throughout college. My step-dad coached me from that time I started playing until I graduated high school. -
Paula is born
My little sister was born when I was 8. I didn't like her at first because I liked being the youngest. Technically, we are only half sisters because we have different dads but that doesn't matter. -
Pet Lucy
Lucy was my first dog and she was a miniature schnauzer. We got her from the pound and she was sweetest dog ever. We had her as a part of the family for a long time before she died an old old dog. -
High School
I attended Wilmington High school and was involved in student council, teens again tobacco use, snowflake, national honors society, volleyball, and softball. I've always loved school -
Regional Champs
As a sophomore I started at second base and short stop for varsity and that year we were regional champs. It was a great season because my older sister was on the team, my dad was the assistant coach, and we did really well. -
Prom Princess
My Junior year my sister was also a senior in high school. We were best friends so when she was awarded Prom Queen and I was Prom Princess we thought it was just perfect. -
High School Graduation
I graduated high school and decided that I wanted to go to Illinois State University to study teaching. This decision was the best choice I ever made in my life. High school was a blast -
Meet Jeff Bass
My sophomore year in college I met Jeff Bass and we started dating. His best friend was dating my best friend and they introduced us. Jeff went to college in Michigan. -
College Graduation
After student teaching at Tri-Valley Middle school, i graduated from ISU in 2009 and got a job to work for my old school, Wilmington Middle School. -
First teaching job
I taught 8th grade Language Arts at Wilmington Middle School. I also coached volleyball and sponsored the newspaper club. -
