Aboriginals
The aboriginals effected Australia's history because they were the "First People" living here.
They changed themselves to help adapt to the country and had knowlege of the land created over thousands of years. -
First Fleet
The First Fleet was led by Capain Cook on the "Endeavor." (the name of the ship.) They came from England to find "New Holland" as they called it. -
Gold Rush
The gold rush kick started the population in Australia because many people wanted to dig up some of the precious metal. -
Ned Kelly
Ned Kelly was a fierce robber.
In one raid he stole $10,000 which these days would equal around $45,000 - $450,000. -
Burke and Wills
Burke and Wills were sent across the Australian outback from Victoria up to Queensland.
They had to make some inmportant decicions.
Some of which they regretted later on. -
Australia Day
Australia Day is celebrated to remember the raising of the British flag in Sydney cove. -
World War 1
In World War 1 61,720 people perished under harsh conditions depending on stores that needed to supply them for months.
They had an age limit of 18 years and older up till you were 40 years old. Many people that were younger than 18 always were pretending that they were older than 18 and because they did not have any experience most died. -
Battle of Gallipoli
The battle of Gallipoli was an unfair fight.
The Turks had the upper hand.
They had planned everything out perfectly resulting in many deaths. -

In World War 2 there were a lot of countries involved some of them are:

Sydney Olympics
In the 2000 Sydney Olympics most people considered that the opening ceremony was the best part.
