Rosa Parks was the famous woman who refused to sit in the back of the bus. Her controversial act led to other protests later on hoping for Blacks to get respectable rights. -

Allowed residents of USA with low income a chance at health treatment. Helped millions get the resources and aid they needed. -

Thurgood Marshall was the Solicitor General in 1965. He started of his career with suing the university of Maryland to admit an African American Student. -

Wallace was the 45th governor from Alabama. He was famous for his "Segregation now, Segregation Forever" speech. -
Robert Kennedy
Known for being JFK's Brother. Died june 6th 1968 -
My Lai
William Calley led the attack on a small village. 400 some civilians were murdered by US forces, the public didn't hear about the massacre until years later. -
James Earl Ray
James Earl Ray was sent to jail for the murder of MLK. He was later said to be innocent by the King family from further evidence, but died at the age of 70 in jail. -

Osama Bin Laden is the leader of the terrorist group, Al Qaeda. He is famous for the 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. -
