    The bill gave Gi's an opportunity to go to school and get knowledge instead of going into the wold without anything to look back on. They were giving money to do whatever they wanted really, it helped them pursue a career other than the military and provided money for they families.

    List containing all of those that were thought to be communists and spy's. Many were falsly accused but the majority were convicted.

    Was a vietnamese Communist revolutionary. Defeated the French Union in 1954

    Babies started to boom once world war two had ended. Soldiers came home to their wives and most of them wanted to start families and then the babies came.

    Allowed residents of USA with low income a chance at health treatment. Helped millions get the resources and aid they needed.

    Thurgood Marshall was the Solicitor General in 1965. He started of his career with suing the university of Maryland to admit an African American Student.

    William Calley led the attack on a small village. 400 some civilians were murdered by US forces, the public didn't hear about the massacre until years later.

    John Kerry ran for president against George W Bush, but lost. He was for pulling troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan, although he lost with George Bush Capturing Sadam H. weeks before the election.

    Osama Bin Laden is the leader of the terrorist group, Al Qaeda. He is famous for the 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

    Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Disease of the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus which is also known as HIV. The virus is most popular in Africa.
