Retrement
Bobby Orr suffered a knee injury and had to retire. He tried to make a comeback but after playing six games decided to permanently retire from playing. Bobby Orr started a new role as an assistant to Chicago general manager. Orr retired having scored 270 goals and 645 assists for 915 points in 657 games, adding 953 penalty minutes.
