26 "Gor!"
Today was Miggery's birthday! She was seven but right now she is 12. She didn't have any cake or presents or anything! While working on the feild she saw the King and Queen with the princess in horses! She gazed in aww! Princess Pea waved but she wondered why Mig. didn't. Mig. then wanted to be a princess too! -
27 A dream.
From then on Miggery wanted to be a princess. She wanted a crown and to get what ever she wants. She told he "uncle" but he said that was a stupid desire! He made her go to work again. -
16 Roscuro
A rat named Roscuro was born in the dungeon and never saw light. One day he saw Gregory and light. He thought that the meaning of life was now light. An old and wise rat tried to hypnotize Roscuro into thinking that making people suffer and twist their feelings was the way of life. -
17 I am a rat!...Or am I?
A while later a prisoner came. Botticelli told him to get the prisoner's cloth but then the both saw light! Roscuro loved the look of the light but Botticelli tried to cover his! Roscuro then wanted to go up stairs but Botticelli said rats do not go upstairs. They stay down here! We are rats! Roscuro repeated,"We are rats." -
18 I am not a rat!
Roscuro went to the prisoner and asked what was wrong. The prisoner said he stole cows...but he regrets selling his daughter a couple of years ago. The cloth was what he traded with for her and a LITTLE more. Roscuro took the cloth away! The prisoner tried to stop him but Roscuro left. He didn't like other people suffering, he didn't think it was for life so he knew that he had to go upstairs! -
19 Going upstairs!
Roscuro went upstairs and found light in everyroom! (he went in all of them) When he got on top of a chandelier the was a party going on in the room with many people that were entertaining or royalty! He stayed there for a while. -
20 The "Rat!"
Roscuro was still at the party but he wanted to get a closer look so he held on to the lowest branch of the chandelier. Soon Princess Pea found out he was there so she said,"Rat! A rat is on the chandelier!" Roscuro felt like someone cursed at him because he was called a rat. Then he slipped and fell from the chandelier and landed in the queens soup! -
24 Miggery Sow
Miggery Sow was a farm-girl. When her mom died her dad traded her for smokes, red cloth, and a hen. Then she had to work. -
21 Bye bye....Queen.
The Queen loved soup! She loved it too much! When the rat fell in the soup the queen then died from shock! He felt sorry. All he wanted to do was see the light but now he killed someone! While leaving he looked behind his shoulder and saw Princess Pea glaring at him. "Go back to the dungeon where you belong!" She said. How can Princess Pea be so nice but mean?! I mean, think about it! -
25 Miggery's life
Miggery's "Uncle" would always make sure Miggery was working. She has to work at the farm alot. Usually "uncle" would hit her on the ear or the nose. She then couldn't hear very clearly and she couldn't smell that good. -
22 Revenge!
While leaving Roscuro felt like his heart had been broken because he was cursed. Then he said he is a rat! Plus, there is no light for rats which he didn't get. Roscuro said he was a rat on the outside but inside he was something beautiful which is true! Anyway, he put a spoon on his head to say that he was royalty and had a qrown. Soon he will get his revenge he said! -
23 The effects!
The king wanted the rat to die! (Roscuro) He told his men to kill every rat in the dungeon! Plus he outlawed soup and soup items. (Bowl, spoon, that stuff) Roscuro went back in the dungeon and he plotted his revenge. After that the king was sad a little. While this happened Despereaux heard honey upstairs. -
28 To the castle!
While Mig. was working a soldier went to Mig's house because th king wanted to make sure that no one had any soup items. Then he saw Mig. He asked the uncle if she was his. He said he traded her. The soldier said it was the law to not trade anyone so he took Mig. to work at the palace. -
Despereaux is born! 1
(chapt. 1) A young mouse is born from his two parents named Lester and Antoinette. (mom and dad) He has a sister and a brother. -
2 Despereaux's "Difference"
Despereaux was different to people and made fun of. For one thing, his eyes were open when he was born which never happens! Also, people made fun of him for acting different and being different. People thought he was small for a mouse. Also he kept hearing a sound like honey... -
3 "Happy ever After"
Despereaux's brother felt bad for him so he tried teaching him how to scurry which didn't help at all. Then his sister tried helping him nibble on paper but instead he read a book about a knight and a princess. -
4 Princess Pea
Despereaux would read that book over and over again because he loved the book very much! One day while reading the book he heard music. It was from the King playing for his daughter. He went to the music and stayed to hear it. Princess Pea saw the mouse but the King thought it was a bug. -
5 Love starts while trouble begins
Despereaux stays for the music and the Princess smiles at him. He smiles back and starts to fall in love! The Princess patted him on the head and he didn't mind. The best thing happened to Despereaux but then his brother saw what was happening so he ran to tell his father! -
6 Boom boom tat!
Lester couldn't believe what he was hearing! He blamed it on the mom but she blamed back. One thing to do, he had to go to the council. Then he played a drum for people could know that there is a meeting. -
7 A love story
The Princess picked Despereaux up in her palm but then when the king saw it was a mouse he demanded to put him down. Princess Pea did but started crying. Despereaux said,"Don't cry!" Then the king yelled,"DON'T TALK TO HER!" He honored her and left. -
8 The punishment
The mice council talked about Despereaux. They all said that he should be sent to the dungeon for talking to a human, letting a human touch him, and not being scared. -
9 Telling the story
Despereaux's brother was going to get him for the council. When he found him Despereaux told him he was in love with Princess Pea and she loved him. Despereaux's brother didn't really care so he took him to the council. -
10 At the council
The council asked Despereaux if he allowed the human to touch him, really talked, and sat foot of the king. He said yes. The council said to repent. He didn't so off he went to the dungeon. -
11 The thread
Before going to the dungeon they had to make sure he had thread around him for he couldn't run from them while going to the dungeon. -
12 Time for the dungeon
Despereaux was ready to go to the dungeon so everyone said goodbye and then he left with two hooded people. -
29 The spool for the Princess
Mig had to give the Princess a spool of thread. She was scared. When she went upstairs she took a long time to give the Princess the thread. She was clumsy but amusing to the Princess. Then they found otu both their moms were dead. They began to like each other as friends and say what they want to be. Mig. then had to go bad to work in the castle but Princess Pea asked why didn't Mig. wave back when she did. Mig. lied and said she did but the Princess didn't see. -
13 The dungeon
While on the way to the dungeon Despereaux found out one of the hooded people was his own brother who didn't bother to help him! Despereaux went in the dungeon and had to stay there, For ever! -
30 Work at the Dungeon
Mig. didn't have any good working habits. Cook then made her go to the dungeon and she had to give food to him everyday IN THE DUNGEON! -
14 In the dungeon
Despereaux couldn't see a thing at all! He tried acking brave and tried to have lots of courage but he fainted. -
31 Mig in the dungeon
Most people would be scared of the dungeon but Mig. was not because she couldn't hear very well and she couldn't smell well from the clouts in her ear/nose. -
15 Gregory
Despereaux was saved by a human in the dungeon named Gregory. Then Despereaux told Gregory a story because he really wanted to hear one. -
32 Mig. meets Gregory
Mig. found Gregory and gave him his tray of food. She wasn't scared of him. They were kinda friends. Gregory said to make sure that she is careful of the rats. While the coversation was going on Roscuro was going up in Mig.'s skirt! -
33 Mig. meets Roscuro
When Mig. was going upstairs she saw Roscuro in the tray. He said her name and she was then very surprised. He said he can make her a Princess so they made a plan about how to get rid of the Princess. -
34 Kill the mouse!
When Mig. was helping in the kitchen she saw Despereaux in the napkin on the tray. She then got a knife and tried to kill him. She missed and he got away but he doesn't have his tail no more. -
36 the plan
While Despereaux was sleeping Roscuro and Miggery were telling the plan to see if everything was right. First Mig. had to threaten Princess Pea for she could go to the dungeon and stay there FOR EVER! -
35 Knight dream
Despereaux fell asleep and then he had a dream about a knight in the dark that didn't have anyone in the suit. Despereaux then felt a little disappointed. -
37 The plan starts
Princess Pea was in her room sleeping and dreaming of her and her mom eating soup but then Miggery and Roscuro went in her room and threatened her by saying,"If you don't want to get hurt Princess then follow us." So she followed them. -
38 Princess Pea's first time in the dungeon
Princess Pea leaded the way to the dungeon while everyone was asleep. A knife pointing behind her while in nothing but a candle lit. -
41 the king hears the truth
Despereaux found the king crying. Then he went to tell the king what happened but the king didn't believe him. Despereaux left the king crying more now. -
39 Gone!
The next morning Despereaux woke up finding that everyone was in shock. He heard that the Princess was missing and Gregory was dead! He fell in oil and flour and turned white but then went to go find the king. -
40 the ghost!
Despereaux went in to the mouse council while trying to find the king but everyone thought he was a ghost for being white and they had thought that he had died. The mice were all scared but then Lester asked for forgiveness. Despereaux then forgave his dad, Lester. -
42 Thread helps
Despereaux then went to the thread master for some thread for he could know where to go like Gregory's rope. -
43 Soup...back?!
Despereaux needed to go to the dungeon to save Princess Pea but the cook was in front of the door in the kitchen. Then Despereaux saw that she was making soup! He tried to sneak away quiet because cook doesn't like mice in her kitchen but then she heard something! Good thing she still didn't know it was Despereaux. -
44 Despereaux noticed
Cook saw Despereaux's shadow of his ears so she knew that there was a mouse in her kitchen but all she did was laugh. She didn't care if he was there. She didn't do anything to him but keep eating her soup. Despereaux stood still frozen. -
45 Want some soup?
Cook saw Despereaux still there so she said to go on. She went back to testing her soup but she didn't know if it was perfect. She gave some to Despereaux who loved it and ate it all! Then he went on his quest. -
46 In the dungeon for the Princess!
Despereaux went into the dungeon and his thread fell. Botticelli then saw the cloth and smelled mouse blood... -
47 Despereaux meets botticelli
Botticelli then found Despereaux. He asked to not kill him and he wanted to know where the princess was. Botticelli then said to follow him becauuse he knows where she is at. -
48 Following Botticelli
Despereaux held tight of Botticelli's tail which was not very pleasant. Despereaux was sacared and all the rats wanted him but Botticelli protected him. -
49 Miggery Sow wants...
While Despereaux was heading to Princess Pea, Miggery and Roscuro put Princess Pea in a cell. Then Miggery asked Roscuro what they were going to do now. Roscuro told her to go with Princess Pea and who cared about what she wanted! Miggery started crying while Princess Pea was conforting her. -
50 Despereaux!
Despereaux found Princess Pea locked up but then when he was going to save her Roscuro came and tried to stop him! -
51 Everyone vs. Roscuro
Miggery tried to help so she cut Roscuro's tail off by mistake. Then Despereaux was fighting Roscuro with his little sword. Mig. helped too but then Princess Pea said stop! Don't kill him and she asked him if he wanted soup. -
52 Happy ever after
Everyone went back to the palace to eat soup. Roscuro said sorry and he was free to go upstairs or down when ever he wished. Miggery didn't get to be a princess but she got to be with her dad and get what she wanted from him. Despereaux and Princess Pea were not a couple but best friends. Everyone was with each other. They lived happily ever after. The end.
