    the confrence was the last meeting of the allied powers to discuss the world after the war. It also divided Germany and Berlin into four parts.

    the truman doctrine was important because it sent aid to Turkey and Greece after they colapsed in WW2. It was basically a indirect advertisment for democracy. The only other major Power was Communism and it was spreding fast, so by supplying european countries with aid, we won them over.
