Trouble with the Pinta
The rudder of teh caravel Pinta, that Martin Pinzon was ailig had come adrift and some believed that was teh work of Gomez rascon ad Cristobal Ouintero teh owner of teh caravel,because he was annoyed about having to make a voyage,also the Admiral said taht before they left thay had always put ther say so in. But the Adminral was very nerveous at not being able to assist the Pinta without danger to hiself. They eventually made 29 legues during day and night. -

More trouble comes
Also the Pinta's rudder again came adrift and they repaired it and made it to the Island of LanZarote which had the Canary Islands. And made 25 legues during the day and night. -

Leave the Pinta
There has been differnt oppinions about who piloted the three caravels about their position. He wished to go the Gran Canaria to leave the caravel Pinta there because her rudder had been in bad condition and she was taking in water. -

We see Island Tenefire
The Admiral could not make it to Gomera until Sunday night and Martin Alonso had to stay off the coast of Gran Canaria because the Admiral ordered him to. Then the Admiral came back to Canaria with hard effort. Martin Alonso and the rest the Pinta crew worked very good to repair the Pinta and eventually they reached Gomera. They saw a fire from from the peak of the island Tenerife that was very high.He went back to Gomera on Sunday September 2 with the Pinta fixed.He set sailed on Sept. 6
