My third language was American Sign Language (ASL), I learned about some of the culture in middle school but I wasn’t exposed until my first year of college. My councilor asked me what I wanted to major in my community college and decided sign language. I took ASL 1 and instantly feel in love with the language, culture, and history. I learned ASL about 3 years ago and had the privilege of attending to Gallaudet University, were most of history happened.
