    Even though thought that Cyrus was king of Media, he had his uncle rule over it until 546B.C. and he officially assumed the title of "King of Persia". He also was King of Lydia.

    Cyrus The Great was born in either 600B.C. or 576B.C. He was the first Zoroastrian emperor of Persia. He made the Persian empire great from a little country under control of the Median Empire.
