The french were willing to enter into an alliance. This battle was fought in New York. This battle was the turning point for the paittriots.

May 12, 1780

This Battle was fought in South Carolina. This was the worst battle for the patriots. Charelston was under siege by the british. The british cut off the harbor. The british won the fight big time.

Jan 17, 1781

The patriots led the attack and fled the fields. This is the second battle that was fought in south carolina. The british retreated back to virginia. The british lost the fight.

Yortown

Oct 19, 1781

The french assisted George Washington by blocking the harbor. This was the last battle of the war. The british camped in virginia waiting for transort to winter quaters. The patriots won the battle and the whole war!
