Maya civilization began in 2000 BC.
They invented the chocolate in America, in Mesoamerica and the chocolate is important for humanity because we eat it often.

Chocolate was created in Mexico, but cocoa was first grown around 600AD by the Maya Indians.
The chocolate became important to Aztecs because they belived God Quetzalcoatl to present them the cocoa trees and they used cocoa in sacret ceremonies.
Nowadays is important because we consume it every day.

Ice Cream

Ice cream was invented in the 16th century in Italy by Francisco Procopio, and then Marco Polo brought back recipes for water ices from Asia. The ice cream is importanr for humanity because we consume/eat every day and there are a lot of varieties.

Francesco Procopio was born in 1651 in Paris and was died in 1727. He was an Italian cook, recognized as the father of ice cream. He invented the ice crem because he played in the snow when he was child and this inspirated him.
