McNeely's kidnapping arranged
Angela, Chester and Darrill K. Lynn have a conference call and discuss that McNeely needs to be removed from the Harvey residence that night. The three discussed how McNeely needed to be taken care of so he couldn’t come back and harm them. Lynn, Allen and Moss remove McNeely as planned and took him to Lynn’s home. -
McNeely is tied up and kicked around
Chad and Chester Harvey took McNeely from Lynn’s residence back to the Harvey home. Lynn. Moss and Allen knew that the Harvey’s planned on harming McNeely. They took McNeely to the basement, put him on a mattress and duct taped his hands around his back and his feet. Chad stayed in the basement and watched McNeely with a shotgun at hand. McNeely’s life was threatened by Chad and Chester and kicked around. -
McNeely murdered
McNeely was placed in a chair and bound by duct tape and romex wire. Angela Harvey observed as Chester Harvey wrapped a black bag around McNeely’s face and suffocated him. Chad Harvey and others held McNeely down and wrapped a wire around his throat to suffocate him. After McNeely was dead, Angela instructed Chester and others how to wrap McNeely’s body in a trap in order to minimize evidence. Chad and Chester put McNeely’s body in the refrigerated section of Chester’s tractor-trailer. -
McNeely's body abandoned
Chad and Chester Harvey transport McNeely’s body in the refrigerated section of Chester’s tractor-trailer and left it at a Casey’s General store on East U.S. Highway 54 in Vandalia. -
Police find McNeely's body
Police find the body of McNeely in Chester’s tractor trailer. Police trace the tractor-trailer to the Harvey home in Laddonia. When police arrive, Chester refuses to come out of the home and threatened to cause harm to his family and himself. Police and Harvey are at a standoff at the Laddonia home -
Standoff ends
A 20 hour police standoff ends with Chester Harvey in custody. There were no injuries. Chad and Chester are taken into custody and charged. -
McNeely autopsy performed
An autopsy conducted of McNeely’s body showed he was killed by asphyxiation. -
