three nights ago, Cleopatra's father was tried to be killed by a posionuos snake. The snake killed Cleopatra's father's old eunuch, Mento. Then someone tried to kill Cleopatra's father that night, by poisioning his wine. Father is going to be assasined. Father has now hidden somewhere. His whereabouts are unknown to only his highest advisors. Cleopatra is afriad. -

Cleopatra goes to the tomb of Alexander the founder of the city she lives in, Alexandria. Alexander is 300 years old. -

Cleopatra goes to library. Cleopatra meets her friend, Olympius, in library. Olympius is 14 and Cleopatra is 12. Cleopatra and Olympius write letters to each others. That is a way they know nobody is spying on them. Olyimpius tells Cleopatra that people are trying to kill her father. -
late at night
Last night Cleopatra went to the Island Antirrhodus.there, Cleopatra went to her 'palace' on the island. There, Her gurad, Puzo, finds a human skull. He rushes Cleopatra off the island as Cleopatra writes to Olympus to keep all her posessions in good shape. Someone wants Celopatra dead. -
In the Bathtub
Cleopatra is waiting for Olympus'es word for the time to go. Cleopatra writes about her memories of recent events concerning about her being assasined by doing certain things. Cleopatra wonders who wants her dead, and why. After Cleopatra thinks about these things, she has her maid, Neva, read to her. -
Cleopatra: Beware
Cleopatra was given a message. The boy who dilvered the message was six years old, and was scared to death. Cleopatra was sorry for this boy. As soon as he backed out of the room, Cleopatra opened the seal and read the message. The message said: Hurry Cleopatra, but beware: Do not eat or drink. Friends of Tryphaena have been hired to poison you. -
Aboard King Ptolemy's ship
Cleopatra has been at sea for ten days. Her maid, Neva, is sick, but has cared for Cleopatra like a sister. Cleopatra is also sick from the constant rolling of the ship. They spotted pirates in a small cove, but outran the pirates. They changed their royal purple sails with the normal white ones. Cleopatra feels sorry for the oarsmen because they have to pull all day long, and rest during night. -
Docked on the Island called Malta
On Malta, sailors can bring in fresh fruit to replenish food stock. The oarsmen get a long rest. Cleopatra saw a reckage next to her royal ship and ordered some men to dive down to the wreckadge. but the wreckadge was too deep, and one sailor died. Cleopatra thought that the gods wanted all the tresure themselves. -
still on the Island of Malta, Nightfall
Peaceful. that is the only word Cleopatra can find about the nice breeze and waves rocking the ship gently back and forth. Cleopatra was about to make a seal saying that nobody can go drunk, but then Cleopatra's father comes out from the quarter deck, drunk. Cleopatra erases to words and puts the paper back in her writing chest. How can a princess make a order when her father, the king, will not obey? -
Rome
Cleopatras father says that when doing polotics with Romans, it is best to do politics like the Romans.Cleopatra and everybody in the party thus dressed in togas.Cleopatra hates the clothing, because it contains wool and she dose not like ths sandals because they cut into her feet. They have been staying with a weathy roman who wants Cleopatra's father to retake the throne in Egypt. -
Third night in rome
Cleopatra has a party for her arrival in Rome. She is exited that there is so much to eat! -
Still in Rome
Lots of rain and Cleopatra was ill. She watched a play at a thearter. The play was called "The Clouds" -
In seaside town of herculaneum
Cleopatra is felling drowzy from playing in the sea and laying on the sand. Neva always reads books and ends with letters from Olymus and Theophilius. -
Rome again
Cleopatra has retured to Rome, because the heat is not to hot, but also because her father wants her with him in his meetings. She does not like this. -
Another day in Rome
Days are cool in Rome. Cleopatra is furious that her father has to have a nursemaid more than his daughter, but Cleopatra will keep this rage, for she must remain in her kings favor. -
A bright day in WEEKS
Neva and Puzo are in love. Their love cannot be seen by Cleopatra's father, so Neva and Puzo write letters to each other.
Whenever they are alone on a public road or something, the three of them sit down together and trade thoughts or ideas. If you looked at them, it would seem taht Cleopatra was giving them orders. -
Second spring away from home
Cleopatra has collected all the letters Olymus and Theophilus. Cleopatra does not know what god to pray to. Cleopatra is worried about her father because he didn't answer to Cleopatra when she asked him about hte soilders. Cleopatra is worried. -
Early in the morning
Cleopatra met Marc Anthony in her villa today. He was eager to look at Cleopatra's father's troops at the dock. Cleopatra is happy from this report. -
Sore all over
Cleopatra is very sore. But she is the happiest princess alive. Once she reached the busy port of Octiva, she was taken to the soilders barracks. She was happy for her tour by Mark Anthony. -
Spirits are soaring HIGH!
Cleopatra is hoping that Marc Anthony will visit her. Cleopatra watched another play. He is happy that spring is nearing. -
Aboard the royal ship Roga
Yesterday Cleopatra was in Marc Anthonys party before he leads the foot soilders around to Alexandria. They plan to march into Alexandria at the same time. Today Cleopatra got a note from Neva that her father caught them in tender embrance. Cleopatra hurries to stop this. -
The royal palace of Alexadria
Cleoparta is happy to meet her friend, Olympus. Thoughts of Marc Anthony moved to the very back of her mind. Cleopatra is happy. -
