The Trimline Telephone had a lighted dial and a thick, curved plastic casing. The phone had both a mouthpiece and earpiece, the dial was between these two things. This phone also had a plug and jack. -

The first mobile phone was created by Martin Cooper ten years before it reached the market! The first phone weighed 16 ounces, costing $3,500. The mobile phone was called "DynaTAC" and was rather large and bulky. -

The iPhone 3G S is one of the most recent cell phones. The phone is made by AT&T. This phone offers the basic phone options along with iPod, camera, text messaging, e-mail, Web browsing, video camera, voice phone dialer, improved battery life and apps. This phone also is a touch screen. This phone caused quite a buzz having over 20 million iPhones purchased when the first version was released in 2007.
