Henirette DeLille born on January 1,1813, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was named after her grandmother. Also she was the youngest of 4 children, Henirette lived with her family in the French Quarters not far from St. Louis Cathedral -

Canonization
In 1989, Henriette had been placed up for canonization as a saint by the Sister's of The Holy Family and the Archdiocese of New Orleans. She would be the first to be the Native Born American- Creole Saint to be canonized
