This amendment allows the people to belive in there own reliegion. Along as you are not diruptive, you can believe and celebrate anything you want in a calm fashion. -
2nd Amendment
The right to bear arms. Is form of protecting your self is legall with some restictions. -
3rd Amendment
You do not have to let a soldier stay with you if you dont want them to. this stays true even in a time of wa.r -
4th Amendment
There are only reasonable searches and seizures. There privicy will not be violated without a good explaination. -
5th Amendment
No phe rights of an ecused person areerson will be held to anwser to capital. The rights of an acused person will still be honored. -
6th Amendment
The right to a speedy trial is when you can have a fast trail. You can get to the point or punishment. This would be helpful to those who know they will be prosocuted -
7th Amendment
if a case invovling the common law and over $20, you will have a right to a trial. -
8th Amendment
Limitsto punishments and fines. There are no extremly crual punishments. Also you shouldnt have to pay a great amount or bail to be released. -
9th Amendment
The rights of the people will be not be denied to anyone. -
10th Amendment
Powers that belong to the state are only the states desision. Or the people in the state. -
11th Amendment
States can not be sued by thier people. This amendment protects them. -
12th Amendment
All electors go to the states to vote for vice president and president. -
13th Amendment
Slavery abolished. Slavery will not be tolerated any further. -
14th Amendment
Civil rights are required. No one shall be treated differently becuase of race or nationality -
15th Amendment
The right to vote shall not be denied. Congress has the power to enforce this article. -
16th Amendment
The congress is aloud to collect imcome tax, without apportionment of the states. -
17th Amendment
The direct election of senators. The position lasts 6 years, and there are two per state. Each senator has one vote. -
18th Amendment
Probation of hard drinks.-repealed. No saling, drinking or housing liquors. -
19th Amendment
Womans rights include, not being judged for their gender. voting rights, etc. -
20th Amendment
Terms of the President and Vice President. How often the congress must meet. -
21st Amendment
The repeal of probation.(amendment # 18 -
22nd Amendment
The rules of presidency. Less then two elections and a total of 8 years at the most. -
23rd Amendment
Voting in the District of Columbia became aloud, availible -
24th Amendment
There can not be a fee to vote. -
25th Amendment
If the president dies then the vp will become the new president of the U.S. This is why while voting for the president you should think about is you like the vp or not. -
26th Amendment
You can vote when you are +18. (not under 18) -
27th Amendment
Congressional pay. You can not imply a pay increase/decrease for congress untill the next term of office.
