Innocenzo Manzetti did it
In an attemt to give his musical automation a voice, Innocenzo Manzetti invents the speaking telegraph. He shows no interest in patenting his device but is reported on the newspapers. -
The Developers of the telephone
1831 -Michael Faraday proved that vibrations of metal that could be converted into electrical impulses.
1861 -Johann Philip Reis built a apparetus that changed sound to elctricity and back and again to sound .
1871-Antonio Meucci filed his patent caveat (notice of intention to take out a patent)
1874-Bell while working on a multiple telegraph, Developed the basic ideas for the telephone.
1875- Bell files the first patent for improved telegraphy.
1876- Bell and Watson transmit a full sentence. -
Alexander Graham Bell Created the first Telephone
On March the 10th of 1876, Alexander Graham Bell created the first working telephone. In February 14 of 1876, Alexander Graham Bell already had the idea of the telephone and another person also had the idea and his name was Elisha Gray she was also getting a patent of the telephone so no one could copy it, but Alexander had just got the patent before Elsiha Gray. This was almost like a legal battle over creating the same device (which bell won.)
