Her mother passed away
As a result of her mother´s death because of a fatal cancer, the children were looked after by their aunt. She died at the early age of thirty eight years, as emily will. -
Clergy Daughter´s School
She was sent to that school as her older daugthers were on there. -
Maria and Elizabeth's death
Soon after Emily's admission, a typhoid epidemic swept the school. Both Maria and Elizabth got sick of tuberculosis and died. Consequently, Emily and her sister Charlotte left the school because of the poor conditions. -

The three survivor sisters and Branwell (her brother) were educated in home. In order to get entertained, they created a ficticious world about which they wrote. This was their way to be creative in the very boring an isolated village they lived. -

After having caught a cold in her brother´s funeral, she died at the early age of 30.
