2010 - Android Really Arrives
In 2010 the first ever android based off a Linus kernel was released as a Samsung, Samsung had before been reluctant to entering the smartphone market as they would made drives and computers instead. When they had entered the smartphone market things would be changed forever with operating systems used in smartphones to this day. -
2010 - Apple iPad
The first ever iPad, invented by Microsoft was made and released on April 3rd, 2010. It was revolutionary for parents who didn't want to deal with their kid's annoyance and crying so they would give the iPad to them and they would calm down and watch cocomelon. -
2010 - Microsoft Kinect
Kinect is a line of motion sensing input devices produced by Microsoft and first released in 2010. It enhanced lives and brought families closer with the children's Kinect video games that were similar to Wii type games. -
2011 - Social Media moves to smartphones
There's no real time or inventor of this because as soon as one social media app had moved to smartphone then so did all the others, the most notable one being Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook app. Before the 2010s, social media would be an app mainly reserved and used for Pc only. -
2013 - Netflix takes off
In the year 2013 the movie streaming service "Netflix" had became exponentially popular than it had been before. It had already been a thing for 6 years prior but it was never utilized to such a great extent by the American public until 2013.
