In early 2019 CATALOG, a DNA data storage company, created the Data DNA Writer. This machine allows them to store data on strands of DNA at a significantly faster rate than other conventional storage methods. In a world where we are projected to store more pieces of data than there are stars, this is a big leap forward in processing and storing that data.
