    Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple Inc, released iTunes on January 9th, 2001. This allowed the public to download music and mix the songs to burn onto CD's. This invention allowed easy access to music and to single hit songs.
  • 2003- MySpace

    2003- MySpace
    MySpace was founded on August 1st, 2003 by Chris DeWolfe and Tom Anderson. This was a social networking site for people to chat, mingle, and publicize their life to others. This platform led to the creation of many other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
  • 2007- Apple iPhone

    2007- Apple iPhone
    The Apple iPhone was released to the public on June 29th, 2007 by Apple. The iPhone was capable of taking pictures, weather reports, and navigation. Today, our phones are capable of doing well beyond just the basics of the first iPhone. We can video chat, access the internet, pay bills, play games, stream videos, etc. Much of our information is stored now in our phones.

    The MacBook Air was first released by Apple in January 2008. The Air was virtually the same as the other laptops with a great battery life and built in camera. However, the driving point of the MacBook Air was how compact the laptop. The laptop was made to be more portable and more convenient to carry. Many people nowadays are able to fit their laptops in their book bags and the weight of these laptops have been severely reduced.

    Bitcoin was created in January 2009 by the false name of Satoshi Nakamoto. This was the first digital currency and it was universal. It could be used everywhere in the world as long as there was internet connection. It allowed the act of transferring money easier because there was no 3rd party needed.
