IBM's Supercomputer is completed
In 2009 IBM completes its new supercomputer which was the first in reaching a constant performance of 1 petaflop (one thousand trillion floating-point operations per second). I made use of two main chips, the IBM POWER XCell L8i and AMD Opteron. Fun fact: the IBM POWER XCell L8i was also used in the production of the Play Station 3.
