    The iPod was the first handheld music device that Apple engineer Jon Rubinstein created. This affected the music industry and consumers by putting 1000s of songs in someone's pocket. This device led to the creation of so many other music devices and led to the creator of the iTunes store.
  • Wii

    Wii
    The original Wii was created in 2006 and is still being sold today. Shigeru Miyamoto created the Wii and works for a Japan based company. The Wii was the next big gaming console for the time and its target audience was people of all ages, the physical/athletic aspects of this console was definitely a plus. There have been various models of the Wii and sold 604,000 units when it was first released.

    Kindle
    The original Kindle, an Amazon creator, was released in 2007 and changed the market of reading. The Kindle was released in November and immediately sold out within hours. The Kindle gave access to a plethora of books that was available for cheaper prices than those at a bookstore.

    iPhone
    The iPhone first hit the stores June 29th, 2007 and is still dominating the mobile phone market today. The iPhone was created by Steve Jobs. There has been more than 30 million units and was life changing for mobile devices since it was one of the first devices where you can call and have the internet wherever you go.

    FitBit
    The Fitbit helped the modern fitness trackers that we have today, most notably the Apple Watch. The Fitbit was created in 2009 and even though it is not the most sold today, the Fitbit popularized health trackers that people wear all day. It impacted people's lives by allowing them to keep track of health related things like heart rate and steps. James Park and Eric Friedman created this device
