  • Donna Haraway's Cyborg Manifesto

    Donna Haraway's Cyborg Manifesto
Donna Haraway is known for her essay the Cyborg Manifesto. Haraway describes a world without gender identity, biases and the general sense of power. She descrbes an environment where we are all equals working together towards a goal. As a cohesive unit without gender without assumptions and without the disconnect from technology. This essay shows utilization of not only the feminist perspective but also the adoption of technology into every walk of life. Keep in mind this was published in 1985.

  • How Donna Haraway changed the Philosophy of Science

The impact that Donna Harway had on the philosophy of science is her ability to draw attention to the gender bias in science bringing to light that the femanist perspective is a hugely underutilized asset in her time. She paved the way for innovation and adaptation. She spoke about the merging of not only feminism and science but our technology in science and life. The manifesto for cyborgs is an amazing essay that causes new thought and perspective. I would highly recommend giving it a read.
