  • 2009

    Apple releases the MacBook Air which Essentially was the world first thin and lightweight laptop with a high capacity battery, In order to achieve this they replaced the usual hardrive with a SSD making it the first ever mass manufactured computer to do so. This Showed most tech giants that computers can be even smaller and most are still trying to achieve creating smaller computers
  • 2010

    Apple Retina Display: Apple Founder Steve Jobs(with help from others) created this display for use in the MacBook Pro and the IPad tablet. This invention was something nobody saw coming. Much like the ipod from previous years this invention pushed the boundaries of what kind of graphics we could expect from future computers and how we would expect them to perform.

    Google Chrome Book: This was a joint project by Acer and Samsung Electronics and while some were sceptical of the chromebook it soon proved to be a staple of education being supplied by many schools to its students.
  • 2012

    Facebook: Hear me out while Facebook was launched in 2004 we didnt see what it was truly capable of until 2012 when it hit 1 Billion Users. Created by Mark Zuckerberg and others Facebook revolutionized communication worldwide. What made 2012 so special is Facebook acquired Instagram and bridged the seperate Apps into one massive company of communication. To this day people are still heavily effected by both Facebook and Instagram. Enough to change the decision of Elections.
