They found a way to connect hypertext with the internet and the World Wide Web was launched in 1990. It was originally proposed in 1989, but again wasn't launched until 1990. Since the initial launch, the web has grown into the vast network it is today and has become more accessible. -

Linus Torvalds invented Linux, the computer operating system that has developed to now run Google and Facebook. -
PDA
In 1992, the Apple CEO at the time coined the term for the Apple Newton. The first actual personal digital assistant was the Apple Newton Message Pad. The PDA technology is often claimed to have made smart phones a reality. -
Java Script
Developed by Sun Microsystems, Java Script programming language was first released in 1995. It is now the most commonly used programming language that allows us to intricate and interactive web browsers. -
MP3 Player
The first MP3 player was developed by Tomislav Uzelac of Advanced Multimedia Productions in 1997. The MP3 Player allowed people to radically increase the amount of music you could take with you.
