Westside Community School District v. Mergens
This case was decided in June of 1990. The Westside School District would not allow a group of students to form a Christian Bible Study Club at thier school since they wouldn't allow a staff member to sponsor it. In an 8-1 court decision the Supreme Court held that the group can hold their meeting at their school. -
