    FOX news became the first major program to host at night. It is still one of the biggest news channels and has a large viewing platform.

    An agreement between the United States and the USSR where both countries agreed to destroy their stock of immediate-range missiles to help keep the peace and security of nations.

  • Columbine Massacre

    The Columbine shooting killed 12 students and one teacher. It was the largest school shooting America had witnessed at the time and is now the fifth-largest recorded in U.S. history.
