On October 1st 1971 Walt Disney world Magic kingdom first opened to the public located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States. Walt Disney world is also known as the 'happiest place on earth'. The channel tunnel first opened on the May 6th 1994.the channel tunnel runs beneath the English channel from Folkestone straight through to Calais in the minimum time of only 35 minutes. The Queen and France's President Francois Mitterrand opened the Channel tunnel doing to separate ceremonies with one in France and one in Britain. HM the queens diamond jubilee - 60 years
on the 6th of February 2012 it was the 60 year anniversary of Her majesty the queens Diamond jubilee which took place in 1952. Her majesty's the queens diamond jubilee of 2012 took place in 3 different locations, these locations were the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. The diamond jubilee was celebrating Her majesty queen Elizabeth II 60th year of reign and being on the throne. Queen Elizabeth II had a Jubilee diamond which is worth an amount of four to twelve million us dollars. -

Corona virus is also known as Covid-19 and it was originated in china in November 2019. HM Queen Elizabeth II's passing
On the 8th of September 2022 the queen passed away at Balmoral castle in Scotland at 15.10pm. HM the Queen died at the age of 96 years old of old age and was officially the longest reigning British monarch. HM the queens role was then took over by her oldest son Charles III. Queen Elizabeth II has her funeral and ceremony of the 19th September where she was buried at King George VI Memorial Chapel. When the queen passed away people could visit her coffin at West Minster Abbey. -

HM the queens passing impacted travel and tourism a huge amount because many people came to the United kingdom to visit her coffin before the funeral and even more people came to witness her funeral, the whole of the UK was grieving at the passing of Queen Elizabeth II which resulted in people not wanting to go out and go to work.
