    The Selectric typewriter was in the shape of a ball and it was invented so the type bars would not get stuck together. This doubled the productivity of in the typewriting world.

    Space war was the first computer game invented that was intended for computers. This game was invented so games could be played on the minicomputer while research programs running. Steve Russell, the creator of space war said that space war is one solution for using donated computers.

    The tape cassette was developed by Lou Ottens. Its first introduction was at the Berlin Radio Show. You could get the cassette in two forms. Either with the music or recordings already on it, or you could buy a blank one and record whatever you wanted on it.

    The System/360 was introduced by the IMB. It was the first of its computers to use interchangeable software without a peripheral device.

    The first 16-bit minicomputer was invented by Gardner Hendrie and was announced at the 1965 Spring Joint Computer Conference.

    Ralph Baer invented the first home video game console called Brown Box. It was released to the public in 1972.The game Pong was a popular game played on this.

    Data general the NOVA minicomputer. It had a 32 kilobyte of a memory and sold for $8000.

    Professor Len Kleinrock sent the first message over the internet. He was trying to spell ''login'' but the system crashed after ''lo.''
