Franklin Delano Roosevelt established internment camps through Executive Order 9066. The cause of this was the fear and caution after what happened with the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The Navy isolated and arrested all Japanese descendants to New Mexico, Montana, and North Dakota. -

This all started when Naomi Parker was in a picture taken of her working. The picture drew a lot of attention and encouraged more women to join the workforce. She was a feminist icon. The campaign for working women was during World War II. -

This was an allied invasion between Western Europe and the United States. Planning and training took two years to prepare for D Day. Dwight Eisenhower announced when they were ready to attack. -

The US Airforce dropped the first atomic bomb in Hiroshima which is a city in Japan. This explosion killed 90% of the population. This was one of the causes of ending World War II. Harry S. Truman was hesitant towards the invasion of Japan. -

There was rivalry between the Soviet Union and the United States after World War II. The Cold War began after two years after World War II. This lasted for over half of the 20th century. -
Berlin Airlift
United states, France, and UK were planning on creating a new German territory of Western Allies. Allied powers wanted to control different occupation zones of Germany. The Soviet Union pulled back and began a blockade. -
