    Germany invades Poland and Denmark. Denmark surrenders that day while Poland lasts until June 9th.

    France had to sign the documents in the same railroad car that Germany had signed the armistance ending WWI. After the documents were signed, Germany occupied northern France.

    All through the night, they were bombs flying from the planes into the Capital. The bombing continued for 57 nights in a row, and then every once in a while until May.

    Japan and the United States were growing more and more tense with the passing time. Japan wanted to expand it's empire, and they thought that the United States was getting in the way of that plan. In that state of mind, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.
