  • St. Valentine’s Day Massacre

    St. Valentine’s Day Massacre
    A gang-related mass murder that took place on Valentine’s Day. Al Capone was trying to take out his biggest rival at the time, Bugs Moran. He cooked up an elaborate plot that involved a fake whisky deal taken down by fake cops. Moran’s men had their guard down, and they were sprayed by Capone’s men. This massacre led to 6 casualties, as well as increased pressure to incarcerate Capone and end prohibition.
