The 18th amendment made the production and use of alcohol illegal. This was quickly debated and was taken out with the 21st amendment. -
The 19th Admendment
The 19th amendment gave any American of legal age the right to vote no matter their gender. This allowed women to vote instead of just the men. -

The National Origins act replaces the Emergency Quota act by greatly reducing the immigration cap. The Emergency Quota had it set at a 3% rate but the Origins act was able to reduce it back down to 2%. -

Herbert Hoover was the president that was eleced right before the depression came in. For this reason Hoover is sill blamed for the financial problems that occured in that time.
