    The 19th amendement was the amendemt to the United States Constitiuion which granted women the righ to vote. All of the protests had paided off.

    This was the first comercial radio station. KDKA was founded in 1920 by Westinghouse Electric Corporation. They combine with CBS radio in Pittsburg and aired everything from shows to events all over the world. Known as "The voice of Pittsburg"

    Scopes vs. Tenassee is one of the most well known trials of the time period. This was a trial conviction Scopes of teachhing evolution in his Biology class. Scopes was found guilty and fined however this was appealed and he walked free.

    Sacco and Vanzetti Exsicution
    These men are two Italian immigrants who were convicted and exsicuted for the robbery of a shoe factory. They were charged with the murder of a guard and a paymaster. The racial discrimination in this case is at fault for their deaths for there was little eveidence to prove them guilty. They were later proved innocent.

    Lindbergh was the first man to fly acrosst the Atlantic without anyone else their to help him. He thre from Long Island to Paris in thirty-three hours.

    Hoover is the 31st president of the US. The republican was the head of the Food Administration and worked to end WWI. Although he was not realected he did much for the nation. He often takes the blame for the economic crash however he did do a great deal.
