Why: Rosenfeld had wanted to prove that women were capable of sports, as well, she wanted to have an accomplishment in her life. she was a strong female athlete. -

Who: Williams was a canadian athlete.
What: He was the winner of the 100m and 200m races.
Where: the olympics were held in Amsterdam

Why: he is the current 100m sprint world record holder. -
Foster Hewitt (November 21, 1902, Toronto - April 21, 1985, Scarborough)
Who: Hewitt was the first canadian "hockey night" sports broadcaster from coast to coast.
What: He broadcasted through out games in hockey.

Why: People found his style as well as voice unique, other people who were listening could clearly understand what was happening on the ice, it made it easy for people to follow his vivd action.
Hewitt, also made the saying "He Shoots, He Scores" which is used alot these days.
