Flappers became known in the 1920's. Flappers appeared different because of their attitude, behavior, and appearance. Flappers had bobbed hair and short skirts. Many people thought flappers acted unladylike. -

Prohibiton occured between 1920-1930. The 18th amendment caused alcoholic beveragaes to not be legally manufactured, transported, or sold in the US. -
Music
The 1920's marked the start of the "Jazz Age" which continued all the way until the 1930's. -
Extra money
During the 1920's, many people had extra money to spend. The extra money was spent on clothes, appliances, radios and etc. -

October 29, 1929 became known as 'Black Tuesday' since this was the day that the stock market crashed. -

Franklin Roosevelt comes up with the "New Deal" while he is running to be elected president. -

Franklin D. Roosevelt became the the 32nd president replacing President Hoover during the Great Depression. -
Dust storms
Dust storms and droughts occured during the Great Depresion. It ended up killing thousands of people and animals. -
End of Great Depression
The Great Depression is brought to an end when WW2 (World War 2) is preparing to start.
