Russia became inflated during the war because of a shortage of workers, food and materials.The people were being heavily affected by this and began to riot and they lost all faith in the government. Interception of the Zimmerman Telegram
British intercept the Zimmerman Telegram and shortly after share the information with the US. The Telegram was sent from Germany, intended for the eyes of Mexico and promised Mexico the return of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California's land if they were to side with Germany in the war. (This is one reason USA joined the war later) -
