The Lusitania sinking took place on May 5, 1915, where a German U-boat destroyed this British ship. Among the many people that died, which was more than a thousand, 123 Americans were killed. -

In this Battle, the French fought for Verdun, a piece of land located in the northeast of France. This battle fought with the German Forces and French Forces eventually lead to the aftermath of both armies loosing a lot of their recruits. The winner of this battle was never as clear, however, the main goal of it was to loosen the German grip on that piece of land and that was exactly what happened. -
Committee on Public Information
The Committee on Public Information was created by Woodrow Wilson's followers which tried to promote enthusiasm for World War I and at the same time tried to disapprove those who disagreed with this war. -

The Battle of Amiens was the second to last battle done by the Allied Forces to win World War I. This battle which lasted three days successfully marked a victory of the Allied forces against the German forces. -
Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles officially ended World War I. This Treaty's main purpose was to negotiate peace. The conditions it gave Germany after World War I was that it had to make a disarmament, pay a large sum of money for the expenses of World War I, and take away their military from Rhineland. -
19th Amendment
The 19th amendment was the amendment which granted the women the right to vote.
