This is a boat that uses steam as an energy source. It helped people travel far distances in comfort. It also travels faster on water than a paddle boat.

This delicious treat was made from many ingredients so that the creator could easily mold it into a solid bar. Some of the ingredients were cocoa powder, sugar ,and cocoa butter.

The First Telephone

It allowed people to talk over long distances like over the sea and in different countries and states. The idea of the telephone was to be able to send speech in a different way. Unlike the telegraph you could send a lot of messages on the same line.

Light Bulb

This light bulb design used a round piece of glass and a little piece of metal that is making the light. It was easier to use a light bulb than a candle because it lit up the whole house and you could see better not just in one room.

Electric Car

1890

This was a car that was powered by electric cells. Before they only had carriages and horses to travel on. This vehicle could travel up to 14 miles per hour.

Gas Absorption Heat Pump

The gas absorption heat pump was essentially an air-heat source. Albert Einstein and his colleague, Leó Szilárd, invented it, because before that there were sometimes gas leaks in refrigerators. After reading that people were dying from toxic gas leaks, he invented a safer system for refrigerators where there were less gas leaks.
