    The Electric Battery, also known as the Voltaic Pile, was basically a stack of copper and zinc plates separated by brine-soaked paper disks. It could produce a steady current for a exceptional period of time. Overtime, the battery was modified by many other people and turned into the battery that we know today. Batteries are used in our everyday lives like in our cars and in our gadgets. Although they can be useful, unsafe things can happen such as they can overcharge and leak.

    The first lawn mower was invented by Edwin Budding. Edwin Budding's lawn mower was mainly designed to cut the grass of sports grounds and extensive gardens. Overtime, the lawn mower changed from a cylinder with blades inside, pushed by a handle and rolled on wheels to a fuel powered, automatic, advanced lawn mower. The lawn mower has helped the whole world with cutting grass, but the fuel powered lawn mower causes pollution that is 4 times more than of a car per hour.

They are used in many things such as telephones, radio broadcasts and tape recorders.

It is faster to communicate with someone with a telephone that to wait for them to get a letter.
