  • U.G.A

    One of the oldest and largest comprehensive education institution charted by general assembly in 1785 first to be created by state gov.   • Cotton Gin

    The Cotton Gin was made in 1793. It produced cotton production. It also increased slave population cause they need people to plant and harvest the cotton. -New Georgia studies text book.
  • Sequoyah

    He created a language for the natives to communicate. they communicated and made plans to fight the removal and to organize them self. -Battle of natives american removal.
  • William McIntosh

    He was a creek chief who signed a treaty of Indian springs and that gave away people land for exchange for wealth. The gov then owned land and forced natives off their land. -battle of native american removal.
  • Gold Rush

  • Cherokee removal

  • Rail Roads

    In 1833 Rail Roads started to be made to be made. They were charted in 1833 by business men. It helped transfer cotton and other goods to places faster which helped them make more money. -New Georgia Studies text book.

    John Russ wrote a constitution which he made laws for the natives to protect them from getting kicked out from there land by the settlers who came for land.
