1793- Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin.
The cotton gin helped Georgia increase to have more slaves.

1796- Georgia moved to the new capital of Louisville.

1803- New lottery system began.
White orphan males in Georgia got one chance at least a year in a lottery.

Supreme Court
1810- Supreme Court declared the repeal of the Yazoo Act unconstitutional.
The land was now the U.S government's property, it had settle the claims of these buyers.

Creek
1821- Mclntosh was one of the negotiators for the Creek in the first Treaty of Indian Springs.
Creek gave up their land between the Ocmulgee and Flint rivers.

Gold discovered near Dahlonega
1829- Gold was found in Dahlonega.
Everyone wanted to settled in the land and Natives were kicked out.

Methodists
1830- Methodists had established to later called Wesleyan Collegefo girls and Emory for boys.
Georgia's population and economy grow. New churches were established.
