On October 1, 1990, Steven Page was born on Fort Belvoir Army base in Alexandria, Virginia, becoming the fourth child of Dan and Laura Page and joining the Page family. Alright! -

Twenty days after his birth, Steven's pass on their Catholic faith to Steven; a faith that has been very strong in earlier generations of the Page family. -

With my Father being in the Air Foce, my family often moved and moved across country. When my family moved from the busy atmosphere of life near Washington D.C. we had to adapt to Colorado culture. -

In August of 1995, shortly after I moved to Colorado I started preschool at Abiding Hope Church, thus starting my socialization outside church and family. -

With the release of the movie "Independence Day," the big named actor Will Smith moved from mediocre rapper to all-star actor, thus making him a prominant figure in American culture. -
Social Interaction- Steven starts playing street hockey
Inspired by recent success of local hockey teams and his brother, Steven starts to playing hockey and interacting with peers in a whole new way. -
Agents of Socialization- Steven's father is forced to retire from the air force
Steven's father is forced to retire from the air force and moves into an 18 month period where he has no job, thus changing the family dynamics. -
Crime- Columbine Shootings
Two Columbine high school students construct a plot that claims the lives of 13 victims leading to a dramatic change in the Littleton, Colorado community. -
Performance- First hockey hattrick
For the first time Steven scores three goals in one hockey game. This strong performance gives him confidence and he continues to excel in hockey. -

In March 2003, the Iraq war begins, originally sparking a possitive response in American culture. -

Steven enters middle school in august 2003 and is pressured into joiing the norms of middle school despite his owns feelings towards them because of the pressure of social status. -
Reasons for Puishment- Execution of Saddam Hussein
As an act of retribution for his actions when president of Iraq, the new Iraqi government executes Saddam Hussein. -
Agents of Socialization- Steven is confirmed into the Catholic faith
After having a conversion during the confirmation program at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Parish, Steven is confirmed into the Catholic faith, thus changing how he interacts with those around him after such a strong conversion. -
Social Institutions- Barack Obama inaugurated president of United States
Barack Obama became the first black president of the United States and brought with him new morals to the presidency, changing how Americans are socialized by their government. -
Agents of Socialization- Steven looks into seminary
Growing deeper and deeper with his faith, Steven looks into joining the seminary and becoming a priest, socializing him in a whole new way through religion.
