Gen. Greene - the new commander of the Southern Army
Gen. Nathanael Greene replaced Gen. Gates and became the new commander of the Southern Army. Greene then wear down the British on a six month chase through South Carolina into North Carolina and Virginia then back into North Carolina. The British was low on supplies.
