  • Proclamation of 1763

    The Proclamation of 1763 was used to set territorial limits at the end of the French and Indian War. British colonists were only allowed to settle in certain areas.
  • Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act was increase revenue from the American colonies. In which this act pressed on sugar, and other such goods that were imported into colonies. The act changed things between Great Britain and the American colonies.
  • Currency Act

    In 1764, Currency Act happen on the part of the Parliament as way of their part from the control over the currency. Since colonies at the time were short on trade area in which the added a hard time within the economy.
  • Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act was a passed by the legislation from the British Parliament to have everything that was being purchased such as newspapers, playing cards, legal documents, and etc. The stamps helped pay for the expenses, but the act had a interferment with the colonist because they saw it being a against their own rights from how they didn't have a say into the such taxes.
  • Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act was passed which made the colonies provide food, housing and other things to the royal troops during war. Im many ways the colonist viewed this to be against their privacy since they were being forced to these such actions for the troops.
  • Declaratory Act

    The Declaratory Act was made by the British Parliament. It stated that Parliament had control over to make laws and state things to the American colonies since they can.
  • Townshend Act

    The Townshend Act is passed by the Parliament of Great Britain. It imposed taxes on multiple items such as paper, silk, and tea that went to America.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre was an incident that was between the citizens and British soldiers. Which was made into violence attack and had ended with some colonist death. It was an outrage of madness that spread throughout. Some of them feel drenched about what happen to those who were injured during the incident.
  • Boston Tea party

    The Boston Tea Party was an action taken by the colonists in Boston. On December 16, officials in Boston did not want to turn back shiploads of tea that was taxed. In a colonist responded to this situation was that they boarded the ships and thrown over the tea into the Boston Harbor.
  • Intolerable Acts (Coercive Acts)

    Intolerable Acts or the Coercive Act was a multiple laws. They were passed by the British Parliament that which closed down the Harbor.
  • Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act was passed last in which applied to all the American colonies. This was a new act is different to the 1765 Quartering Act by such a small change from this one to let those to be housed into homes and other certain building for the British.
  • Quebec Act

    The Quebec Act was passed by the British Parliament in which this act was made for a strategy to control over land in certain areas. Colonist were not so happy due to how the territory and religious provision from the Act.
