    Seven Years' War

    The Seven Years' War was a large scale conflict that occurred on multiple continents. The conflict began with the French and Indian War in North America, but eventually made its way to Europe, where the majority of Europe began fighting. The war was fought over a number of things. It focused heavliy on political and world power. The war eventually ended with the Treaty of Paris and the Treaty of Hubertusburg in 1763.

    George Washington crossed the Delaware River during the American Revolutionary War, heading towards opposing forces in Trenton, New Jersey. This event is famous because of a painting that is supposed to illustrate the event.

    Publication of the Federalist Papers

    The Federalist Papers were a collection of dozens of articles written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay. These letters were written and published over a span of two years. They were intended to promote the ratification of the United States Constitution.

    After months of discussion and voting, the U.S. Constitution was eventually offered for state approval. When enough states had voted in favor of the Constitution, it was ratified. At that point, it was the new "law of the land."

    Alexander Hamilton suggested a Bank system for the United States. On this date, Congress approved a twenty-year charter for the Bank of America. This allowed Hamilton to establish the first national bank (which would help with the national currency, the economic stability, trade, business, tax, etc.).

    On Thursday November 26, 1798, Abraham Lincoln, the current president of the United States of America, declared a nation day of Thanksgiving (Thanksgiving). This day was designed to be a day of being thankful and praying.
