Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was an incident growing out of the resentment against the British troops. The troops constantly tormented by irresponsible gangs fired into a rioting crowd and killed five men. This event led to large protests and rebellion. -
Boston Tea Party
A group of colonists led by Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and others, disguised themselves as Native Americans, boarded the ships on the night of Dec. 16, 1773, and threw the tea into the harbor. This act was against the English for hurting the New World's ecomomy. -
