    in 1607 English people went to north america to establish jamestown.

  • tobacco

    when Jamestown were going through things tobacco saved the colony and opened the door to British settlement. the colony was struggling finding way to make it through until John Rolfe planted tobacco.

    one of the longest and deadliest wars in history. multiple wars fought by different nations for many different reasons.

  • slaves arriving

    a ship brought over 20 slaves into jamestown which was the start of slavery.

  • mayflower compact

    created by the english settlers who went to the new world on the mayflower. this agreement established a unified sense of purpose.
